The Council of State


The Constitution of the Kingdom, issued November 17, 1860 by King Orélie-Antoine, provides for the existence a Council of State,
whose composition and powers are set according to Articles 26 to 31 of the said Constitution


The State Council is composed of the following members:

  • President : Prince Antoine IV
  • Vice-President Klaus-Peter Pohland, appointed by Prince Philippe
  • Baron Philippe de Lavalette, appointed by Prince Philippe
  • Alain Andersen, appointed by Prince Antoine IV
