150th Anniversary Commemorative Medal of the

Kingdom of Araucania and Patagonia


This medal was created to November 17, 2010 by Royal Order of Prince Philippe for the commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Kingdom of Araucania and Patagonia

The medal is made of gold coated brass at the effigy of the founder of the Kingdom with the caption above: "150 Aņos Reino de Araucania y Patagonia" and below "Rey Orllie-Antoine 1er"

The reverse features the Kultrun, the sacred drum of the Machis, the priestresses-healers of the Mapuche

The ribbon ha in the center the colors of the Kingdom surrounded by the colors red and blue.

The design of the medal was made by the Count of Coronel, Vice Chancellor of the Kingdom.

This medal is granted by a patent to any person advocating the royal cause and making the request to
